MPH was proud to contribute to the delivery of the Newland Park Skate and Play Precinct, a major new recreational asset for Alice Springs. Well-designed public spaces play a critical role in supporting active lifestyles and bringing communities together. Newland Park has been created as a place where people of all ages can move, gather and connect, and we expect it will be well used for years to come. Our team prioritised smart construction methods that balance durability, environmental responsibility and local capability. Wherever possible, local contractors and materials were engaged, ensuring the project delivered lasting value beyond the build itself. As a regional-scale facility, the Newland Park Skate and Play Precinct is set to draw users from across Central Australia, supporting tourism, creating local employment opportunities and adding to the growing network of quality public infrastructure in Alice Springs.
