MPH Projects successfully completed a major refurbishment to the Discovery Parks Kings Canyon Resort. Works involved: 96 standard rooms were fully renovated internally and externally. Upon the successful completion of the standard rooms, MPH were awarded the renovation works of the 32 Deluxe rooms. This luxury desert camp is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. MPH Projects are proud to have completed this remarkable project at Longitude 131, Uluru-Kata Tjuta in just 14 weeks, on time and to the highest standard. MPH Projects undertook the extensive refurbishment of existing buildings and also constructed brand new luxury accommodation, dining areas and spa rooms. MPH Projects took on a unique and pioneering challenge when contracted by the Northern Territory Government to construct new stages of the concrete and stone rim walk. In a world-first, the team faced the challenge of transporting staff and cement products via helicopter due to the remote and rugged terrain of the area. Additionally, extreme summer heat significantly reduced the lifting capacity of the helicopter, requiring the establishment of color-coded "helipads" atop the canyon to ensure precise and efficient delivery of freight.

This project features two fiber reinforced plastic tanks, crystal clear acrylic windows, custom designed "Finke River" themed rock panels, and extensive platform and filtration systems. MPH Projects is partnering with Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation to build the Tennant Creek Youth Accommodation Facility for the Warumungu people, the traditional owners of the land. This project will provide two eight-bedroom living quarters with ensuites for men and women, a common dining room with self-catering kitchen, and a caretaker's residence. The project featured an irregular design with curved structural steel members, adding a unique and impressive feature to the area. MPH Projects were contracted to decommission the existing water reticulation system and supply a new mains water system from Power Water Infrastructure for the Arunga Park Speedway in Alice Springs. MPH also constructed all new water reticulation systems to the complex's many buildings, bathrooms, and pit area. The project was completed with minimal disruption to the existing reticulation system while ensuring the highest standard of workmanship.

MPH Projects were contracted to completely renovate four bathrooms at the Alice Springs Courthouse. Works involved the removal of ACM material, new drainage works and the installation of all new partition cubicles, urinals, fittings and fixtures and new tiling throughout. The carefully staged project minimised disturbance to the public and legal proceedings, with many works conducted outside of business hours.

This critical project involved substantial construction, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic upgrades to provide high-quality care to patients in the region. Despite the challenges, MPH completed the project within the tight timeline of five months, ensuring the hospital was equipped with modern and efficient facilities.

MPH Projects was awarded the contract by the Department of Infrastructure to construct a new gatehouse at a correctional facility in Alice Springs. This Design and Construct project included new classrooms, a medical clinic, bathrooms, and security features. MPH managed all aspects of the job, including design, engineering, construction, and certification. Additionally, we were also awarded the tender to construct over 400 meters of security fencing and gates at the site.

MPH Projects has undertaken extensive refurbishments of remote houses in various Indigenous communities throughout the Northern Territory, including Kintore (Walungurru) on the NT/WA border and Yuendumu (Yuelamu) community. The scope of works included new tiling, electrical and plumbing upgrades, kitchen refurbishments, internal and external repainting, and general repairs and maintenance. MPH Projects demonstrated the expertise to turn over each house within approximately 3 to 4 days, ensuring minimal disruption to the local communities.

MPH was contracted by the Northern Territory Government to construct a two bedroom duplex at Elliott, a town situated approximately seven hundred km north of Alice Springs and located along the Stuart Highway. Despite the challenging wet season conditions and the historical significance of the area as a World War II base, the project was completed in a 16 week construction period.
